kimbolton school,advice please

Hi,i'm new here and looking for some help and advice please...i am looking at entering my 10 yr old son to kimbolton in 2015,he will need to sit the entrance exam in feb 2015,he is a bright,clever lad but i want to help him prepare obviously,does anyone here have a child that attends kimbolton school?
I am wondering if the entrance exam is the same as the 11 plus? is it set independantly by the school or via a company? what is the pass level? all sorts of questions really,lol. any help or advice would be much appreciated,thank you

I dont have a child at the school but a friend has two children who attend ....but entered the school at 9 years old ......I would not say that eiether children were particularly bright....so if your son is considered bright and clever I would not worry ...

I was looking at some online practice papers that were challenging to say the least!
I would have to apply for a bursary and was concerned that this would be affected by his results in the exam
