It used to be that art school for a BTec in fashion/textiles was the way to go for 16+. Have you checked to see what the entrance requirements are for post-secondary fashion courses are, and then work backwards?

Google is your friend. I put 'fashion' 'course' and 'london' in the search box and the top suggestion was a BTec level 3 diploma at City and Islington which is aimed at 16-18 year olds who want a career in fashion or go onto higher education. You know what you are looking for so you are best placed to work through Google's suggestions. Have fun - I am sure that there are many interesting options out there :-)

At a school local to me where lots study textiles/art/photography it is recommended that they do textiles, art (or another related A level e.g. photography) and business/economics/accountancy/maths. They then go on to get offers at the fashion colleges or universities such as lougborough and leeds which have specialist textiles courses.

Royal Masonic at Rickmansworth did do textiles. You could check if they still do.

Heathfield School in Ascot is the place to go for Fashion and Textiles. Tatler may have their fashion show on its web site still. They have just announced a collaboration with the London College of Fashion.
