I posted about my DD1s school surpassing itself and its reputation in giving her an education ,that has enabled her to achieve her potential on a earlier thread. ( reposted to kent). The school has enabled her to achieve though the great pastoral care they have given to her , also by only allowing 15% of her year group on A Level courses it has meant that only those suitable for A level courses have been admitted. The rest of the year group were directed to vocational courses, which are working very well for the said pupils and giving positive results .
I want to open a more general thread and hear positive/negative ( hopefully positive) comments about schools achieving for their pupils despite facing challenging circumstances.
