I have unexpectedly been given the opportunity to send my DD (only child) to private school for secondary. She has dyspraxia and her state primary in my opionion have not supported her very well and her education and academic confidence has suffered.
Can anyone suggest some schools that are not academcially focused (im not sure she would pass an entrance exame she is level 2b in maths in year 5, and 4c-4a in everything else) in the south east london area - we are in sydenham, se26 but happy to look to bromley or into kent as DH works in sevenoaks. We could possbly look about coming into london but am worried about friends being spreadout.
I am looking for a school that will help her reach her potential whatever that may be but also give her confidence in herself and that will support her in her school journey as at the moment she is quite disengaged and anxious about school life and learning.
