A Level Changes

DS is in year 10 and has started AS maths and computing which he will finish at the end of year 11. I'm just wondering how the new A level arrangements will affect him. He will be able to start on A2 maths and computing in year 12 won't he - I had a sudden thought that maybe he will have to start the 2 year A level courses from scratch?

No, if he is in the middle of a course he will continue on that course. The new A-levels will only be for those starting them in 2015 (or 2016 for maths/further maths)

Thanks Noble. I was worried that if he completes an AS in year 11 that may be seen as completing the course.
