In the back of one of his collections of plays there is a sort of speech come short story...all told in the voice of what appears to be a homeless woman.

She's speaking about how she gets the bus to a certain all night cafe in I think Kings Cross but could be another part of London....I can't find the book and it's annoying me so much!

Sounds like the monologue "The Black and White" included in the first volume of "Plays".

Not that...this is one voice only...and was complete...not a section of The Black and White which has two women in it.

He also wrote a sketch with the same name. Both are noted on haroldpinter.org.

The first sentence is "I always catch the all-night bus, six days out of the week." Google it.

Ah thank you! I was wrong! Sorry everyone for denying it was The Black and White! It was! My memory is failing me!
