KES v Adams' Grammar

We live in the middle of these two, so are in the unusual position that we are choosing between these. Does anyone have a son who has experience they can share - positive or negative?

Both prestigious, great reputations. KES does IB Adams does A Levels which is a big consideration.

Yes, I was expecting to wait until next week but I received an email today.

I was hoping to hear from some "real" pupils - I know they are both good schools but real experiences, bad as well as good, would be helpful in making our choice...

have a look at the 11 plus exam forum there are lots of parents on there with pupils in those schools currently.

I have looked at that forum - I only knew of its existence very recently - but I will have a further delve to see if i can find some more helpful information.

Do you mind me asking what Ds scored in the AGS exam? just so i can make a guess as to my own DS's outcome.

Hi, just wondering how you got on with your decision? We scored 350 so have Adams and also Wolv Grammar, however I regret not applying for KES too after hearing how fantastic it is.

When do you have to let KES know by?

Sorry for delay in responding, have been very busy with work! KES need to know by Monday 17th March. We have finally decided on KES and it's a relief to have it settled.

Have you decided between Adams and WGS yet?

We are going with Adams as I think it suits my son better. KES is a fantastic school!!! All the best I'm sure you made the right choice.
