Streatham and Clapham high school or Sydenham High School for Girls?

My daughter has been offered a place at both schools. Both seem nice. We are currently thinking about the Streatham and Clapham one only because it is marginally easier for her to get to. Does anyone have any opinions as to which would be the best to choose? DD is fairly academic with a flair for maths and not very sporty.

Hi there, my DD was offered both of these last year and we opted for Streatham & Clapham (even although the journey was slightly longer). I liked the school straight away from my visits, strong leadership, building work in planning to do up the 6th form facilities (if she decides to stay).

She's v happy there, fairly middle of the road academically and not overly sporty. Her main interest is literacy and enjoys all the avenues opening up.

I think the long standing Sydenham Head has left (or is leaving) so check who's the head now (deputy or otherwise?).

Stream ham and clap ham high is excellent. When I looked around felt apart of the school. Very amazing and big.
