City of london School for Boys 10+ interview 2014

Hello,
I am wondering if someone can help! We have received a letter inviting DS for a 10+ interview next Friday 7th Feb. What can we expect ? DS is a chatty , friendly boy but I am afraid he may not come out too well in an interview??! Also, what are the numbers this year? I overheard someone say 160 boys for 10+ on the day of the exam...but that may just have been in my head

The interviewers last year went through the maths paper and then had a short passage and asked a couple of questions about it. Then a short chat. DS bounced cheerfully in and was only there for 10 mins. His friend came out crying. Both were offered a place.

I think chatty and friendly sounds good!

Can't help with interview. But a good friends two sons joined year 6 and year 7 and absolutely love it there. Good luck. Also another boy from our primary was very quiet and not confident at all. He'd been turned down by couple of schools. He was offered a place there. So hopefully they look at the bigger picture.
