How do you find out GCSE results by subject?

We are helping DS1 choose his GCSE options, and I think it would be interesting to see what grades previous students have achieved in the subjects on his shortlist.

I have seen other posters referring to being able to look at previous GCSE results for a school for individual subjects.

Is there a central website where this is published? I can't see a subject-by-subject breakdown on the school website.

It's a state school; partially selective.

I have always found that information on individual school's websites. Might be worth ringing the office and asking them? Sometimes, they are very hard to find!

I've seen it in admissions prospectus for year 7's.

Individual schools have them. You will have to ask. Usually these statistics are given to Governors so they could be contained in the papers that went to them. You are able to see these if you ask. Or the teachers might tell you at parents' evening.

Thanks all. I'll email the school office.
