Hi there.

I'm thinking ahead a year or so but would appreciate advice on reasonable options for state secondary within the Caterham area -

would oxted county be too far?

what's de Stafford like these days?

Oasis academy - what's it like? Outside of catchment perhaps?

Any others that I've missed?

What about grammars?

Thanks muchly.

I know people living in Caterham Valley who got into Warlingham.

Warlingham and Riddlesdown both well thought of. Oxted is massive but a good school and has the head who also runs Howard of Effingham.

Oasis academy has improved enormously in the last couple of years. I have friends with children there and they are happy and impressed by it. Two years ago our DDs were allocated Oasis - it was our second choice, no other options except our first choice - and we were all extremely disappointed. They didn't end up going there as we were near the top of the waiting list of our chosen school and eventually got in.

Two years on I would react completely differently to that news.
