Anyone heard from NLCS yet? I know we need to give them until 20th but just a little anxious

You will hear on that date and not before. Wine for you and chocolate for your DD until then. The process is awful but it's a bit like childbirth. You forget the worst bits pretty quickly when it's over.

I guess. DD still has others to sit anyway (Group 1 consortium). Will stay focused on that for now.

Does anyone know what my son will have to do at RGS in an interview based on maths? Also, if there are 70 boys being interviewed, how many places are available for them at this stage?

Got our NLCS letter yesterday. DD has an interview so we're really pleased. What are our chances of an offer? I know some schools make considerably more offers than places......

So I'm hoping they make twice as many offers as places.... Does anyone know the interview format? NLCS is definitely our first choice.

They only offer a few more places over the 60. Not many offers are declined. The interview is a gentle chat with a senior member of staff. Some mental maths. Nothing you can prep for and nothing stressful.

So got a letter for habs boys for interview but on last day they interview does this mean he more a borderline candidate. Does anyone know how they choose interview slots.

Any ideas about Habs interview and how many places vs people they interview

Habs boys interviews in alphabetical order of school so nothing to worry about there. The boys get a group interview in 3s or 4s then a fairly standard individual one. Ds was asked to read a passage and discuss it, interpret a graph and asked about which sports he did.

Thanks good to know the order. My sons school starts with a W so that explains why he was last day.

Son had the interview yesterday and boys were asked if they applied to QE and what their scores were which I thought was strange question in the group session.

Got St Albans and MT interview tomorrow so fingers crossed
