Would you be kind enough to recommend books and websites specifically aimed at Yr 7 common entrance maths.
Son needs to practise Level 2 and 3 CE questions. His knowledge of maths is fine but he seems to be struggling a bit to convert this knowledge when given CE questions as the format is different to national curriculum.
I know bbc bitesize is good for KS3 and school uses mymaths, but is there a similar website or books specifically for CE

Galore park books

"So You Really Want to Learn Maths" Book 3 published by Galore Park (see their website or Amazon) and Iseb past papers on the same GP website

Bond 11+ books.

The eleven plus website here has lots of information

Galore park really is the best for CE 13+ specific practice. Get the level 3 books and also buy some past papers with answers. They are quite pricey though

Definitely the galore park ISEB maths practise papers (and answers).

Not sure if you are able to get past papers from school but CE maths papers seem to cover the same style questions/topics each year. If you can get hold of a couple they might give you some idea of the areas you need to focus on.

The ISEB website has a copy of the syllabus for both 11+ and 13+.

Good luck.

I would also add that gettting a tutor is an idea.... good luck X
