New co-ed intake

Considering Shrewsbury School for DD1. First Form 3 and 4 intake in Sept 2014. Anyone else thinking along the same lines. Advice welcome.

We went to the Open Day this summer (tho' DS1 is only Y5). I wasn't bowled over but DH, and DS1 loved it. The 2 boys who showed us round were polite but one especially seemed nervous at having to speak to strangers. Other parents mostly tweedy farmers or military. In the boarding house we saw only the HM's room, no dorms or boys' kitchen. The day finished with a science lecture which WAS extremely inpressive. Our jury is still out.
