World challenge

Just a warning to all parents considering world challenge. My 15 yr old daughter has just come back from what we thought would be an adventure of a lifetime. Overall she had a good time but my husband and I have been horrified to learn she was allowed out at night, unsupervised by any adult (in a group of 4 young people) up until 11 pm at night! When she came back to the accommodation the teachers / leaders had gone to bed. Please check what levels of supervision you can expect for you child as this is not what I have heard about other Challenges.

My daughter went to India last summer and had a fantastic time. Part of the challenge is not to be under close supervision all the time but to risk assess each scenario. A group of 4 (depending on location) sounds reasonable - assume they weren't out drinking. I would expect the teacher or leader to check them in though.
