What do you tell your child to do when you have another child who pesters her. She doesn't want to shout at her and get a caution and she has asked her to speak to keep a distance. ..What more can you do...

If my daughter ignores her she cries to the teacher and tells them my daughter is being nasty....I don't want to ring the school..... but should I?

I would give the school a ring but keep it fairly neutral. More along the lines of "I think DD and X might need a bit of space from each other at the moment" rather than X is being a pest. Ask the school to keep an eye on it.
