Can I ask some advice from people from university entrance POV?

I have heard (other parents, couple of teacher comments) that Edexcel A levels in subjects DD1 is interested in, History and Politics, are not viewed in the same light as A levels from other exam boards. I'm not trying to start a fight, but genuinely trying to find out whether this is urban myth or has a degree of truth.

Has anyone any comments please?

I am currently an admissions tutor for social sciences and I don't think I have have ever looked at which exam board applicants were entered in.

It has never been a topic of conversation in any of the three universities I have work in either.

Tis bollocks - universities know students have no choice over exam board, am fairly sure they're all pretty comparable standard wise too.

That's very reassuring - thank you both.
