Harrodian School

we are currently looking at the harrodian school for our DD. results seem strong and improving every year. thoughts?

All schools seem to be perpetually "on the up" but a few years ago it was the "and if all else fails, there is always" option at our primary (exaggerating slightly!) and now people are failing to get places, so there has to be something in it ! Two friends have sent children there (at yr 4, 6 and 7) in the last two years and are happy, with slight provisos about queries on how academic it is. V keen sport at the junior school.

Yes the vibe is that the school is pushing hard academically. They strive very hard in Year 7 and especially Year 8 towards the 13+ which they all have to take. I have been impressed so far. DS in year 8.

SressedandFrazzled - do they ask some DC to leave if they "Fail" the 13+?

onebananatwobanana I only know that the average CE mark last year was %63 and I don't know if anyone was asked to leave.
