We received an email and a letter to say my son had past the Kent test However when I picked up his scores one element is below the 118 required in each section. Can anyone help has he been lucky to have had a headteachers appeal? Or is this an error somewhere ? I am sick with worry an can not find any way of working out what happened over the weekend

Then he has most likely gone through on headteachers appeal, as do 2-3% of children in Kent. As this is part of the Kent 11+ process, it counts as a pass in the same way as a 360, none below 118 does. hTH, and well done to him!
