Y7 CAT scores question?

Just got DS1's CAT score and sets, which is all good. But it says

'Y7 Induction Level Maths - N'

What does a N mean? Was a L4a when he left primary and has lots of ticks/good work/merits for his first half term at secondary school, so I am confused and of course it says nothing on the letters about it!

I'm guessing - maybe he didn't do induction level? Just higher ones?

No idea because we weren't given our DC's CATs scores!

me neither, Tilly, and I even asked but only got a qualitative summary. Healthier that I never know, probably.

We have never had CAT scores either. I would agree with newgirl though - probably means it's one he didn't need to do.
Is there another maths one on there?
