Hi there

We are considering moving to Haslemere next year from West Sussex. I have two DS, one in Y5 and one in Reception. I wondered if anyone has any experience of the schools above? Having done a bit of reading up Woolmee is half the size of Bohunt, Woolmer has a good Ofsted and Bohunt an outstanding, but Bohunt is more Liphook than Haslemere?

Also, Shottermill would be the nearest primary for DS2 if anyone has any views on that?

Any advice would be greatly received.

Many thanks

Try and get into Camelsdale school which is very good. Just in West Sussex but by Haslemere. Your children can then go on to Woolmer Hill, Bohunt or MRC. Both my children are at Woolmer Hill and are very happy. It is a very nurturing school, where the pupils are allowed to be individuals and have their say on how things are done. But also very inspiring and they make pupils really want to do well.. lots of great clubs and lovely large grounds. The teachers have a really good rapport with the pupils and know all of them and their personalities!

Hello

Moving to Haslemere this month and children have place at Camesdale Primary. I can see Ofsted was outstanding but results seem to be mediocre this year - has anyone any experience of this school and why results may have dropped so much in one year? Have no other school places so may be immaterial and looks good school - but any reassurance would be great!
