Sorry - explanation - my DD2 (only child younger than 11) has had extensive evaluation due to SEN. We therefore have quite detailed information about her various different types of IQ etc. It would be very useful indeed to see if her attainment is what it should be given her ability - and if it isn't then we will be able to demand more support for her SEN issues (though I bet it won't be forthcoming).

No. I think it is likely to limit achievement. Is it to be based on iq or achievement? What about skills which cannot be measured?

No, I wouldn't find it helpful. To be honest, I know whereabouts they all are anyway in relation to their age cohort.
