hello, i wonder if anyone has sent their child into y7 as the first intake of a new secondary school, and what the pros and cons are? i'm looking at schools for my ds to start in sept '14, and one will be opening then so his year will be the first intake, although they will be with y5 and y6 from the adjoining primary school. i'd be grateful for any advice/opinions please!
