what are the best A level reasults you have heard of?

DS friend (state school) got 6A*s in chem phys maths, FM ,latins and Gen Stud!!

A girl in DDs state school got 5A* in maths, further maths, chemistry, physics and biology.

I know lots from a state (good London) who got all A and As, also friends DC who got 8 A 2 As at top boys grammar school.

Lucky them! I will be delighted if my DC manages Bs next year ( rather than C and D grades).

A school that had twins who each got 5 A*
(state)
which has buggered up their comparatives for the next few years!

They had each got 14 A* at GCSE and buggered the stats at their earlier school too !

Not A level but my former babysitter got 100% in all 3 papers for her maths As level. Also got top marks in all her other AS levels.
