GCSE remarks

Could anyone who has requested a remark this year tell me how long it took to get the result. Board is AQA. Thank you

We are about to get English Language re-marked, and I think they expect the new results back in November...

My DS submitted ours today soda (also AQA), so shall we see who wins?

At my DCs school, they wait until a few days before the deadline before dealing with them all together. So although we put our form in at the beginning of Sept, it was not send to the exam board for a couple of weeks.

I think that they have to be back within 18 working days. Dd got her result yesterday. No change :( We asked for the remark the day after results day so 8 working days.

Interesting, I suppose just because he filled the form in, is no guarantee the school will send it off yet, they may wait to collect them all.
I think this subject, Drama, is the only one the school does with AQA though. He was 1 mark off an A*.

Ditto soda, one mark off an A here. Actually equates to less than a mark on the paper in fact, as he was one UMS mark out of 400 off the A. Bah

Yes 1 UMS off here too, he's doing it for AS and really, really wanted an A*, especially as he got 180/180 for unit 2, the performance/practical bit.

DD had her remark back in 6 days - Edexcel. She got her A* :)
