Revision resources for GCSE

Hi there,

Can anyone recommend any GCSE revision products for all subjects? Son is about to go into year 10 and I'd like him to learn at home as he goes along throughout the year rather than cram it all in the week before the exam!

Thanks!

First you need to find out which exam boards the school use for each subject. Also check the school website to look for what they recommend. I always send a letter to every parent outlining the GCSE courses their children will study with a list of resources that would help. For example I send the names of novels/plays to be studied for Lit. Lots of parents then buy them and read them themselves so they can help. We do 'Mister Pip' or 'Purple Hibiscus' for the other cultures section and often parents have not read them so it would be worth checking. An e-mail to the HOY to ask for suggestions from DS teachers should give you a good idea of what you need to get.
