RGS Guildford Equipment for yr 7?

Hi,
Is there a list of equipment required for year 7 ie certain calculator or dictionary required?

Hi Fayerfield,

DS's teacher recommended the Casio scientific calculator at the induction but also said they wouldn't need it in first term, nor would they need set squares and compass etc so don't bring them in as they'd only lose them.

She also recommended specific language dictionaries but I don't remember which ones. However another mum pointed out to me that MFL vocab will be fairly basic at this stage so any dictionary would do.

She asked them to bring in a full pencil case (usual writing pens, pencils, coloured pencils etc) a small notebook, and a small padlock with a long thin neck to fit the lockers, which so far is the most impossible thing to find (so if you find one, let me know.)

Excited yes, just need to pick up the last of the uniform on 15th. Our class are meeting a few times in the holidays so hopefully DS will get to know a few faces. How about your DS excited?
