Hi mums!
We are moving to London and I have children of 4, 9 and 12 years of age. I've been looking at Ruislip as a place to live. Any advice on schools there?

Any advice is highly appreciated

Hi, I went to northwood school but have heard its gone downhill recently! Loved it myself. Apparently Hayden is a very good school now, queensmead is consistently ok and Ruislip high started good but has gone down slightly.

Not sure about any others!

Sometimes it good not to go on local reputations, because they are out of date. Look up Ruislip schools on the DfE performance table website. Then use the website www.how-to-choose-a-school.org/ to help you. I always recommend it, because it tries to be impartial.

Thank you very much, will check the Websites out.

Hayden school is extremely well thought of. If I still lived in the area I would have fought tooth and nail for my son to get in. It is reallynearer Northwood Hills but close to Ruislip
