What would be considered a good grade for a CE maths level 2 paper by a year 7 child?

Well a pass for most normal schools is 55%+, so I am very pleased if the children I teach at this point of yr 7 get that. I know that anyone getting 30%+ will get to a pass without needing additional help.

For the brighter children who I expect to get onto level 3 for CE, I would expect them to get 70%+ on a Level 2 paper at this point of Yr 7.

It is worth noting that scores on the non calculator paper are often higher than than calculator paper, I work on averages when thinking about these.
