Sport at Queen Margaret's School, York?

Hi all
My daughter is looking for places for 6th Form, and QM is a definite option.
She is currently at a small independent school where past year 9 the girls dont do sport unless they take GCSE, which she didnt.
She is keen to get into sports such as lacrosse and hockey, and my question is whether anybody knows if there are opportunities for weaker sportspeople at QM? I have heard only shining references of their sport (County players etc) and am concerned about whether she might be overlooked.

Any knowledge or advice would be gratefully appreciated!! :D

Thank you!!

QMs are very sporty but I'm sure they cater for all...

Otherwise, what about The Mount? Good sport for those who want it and masses of other stuff for those who don't. (Everyone does it throughout the school up to and including sixth form.) Also a small enough school that everyone who wants to can be involved and will get excellent coaching.

massive disclaimer - have boys and oddly know no-one with kids at QMs, but i ride past there often and there are always loads of girls outside playing all sorts of sports. I suspect the whole school is out there on many occasions - they appear to have lots of room.

Thank you both, Loshad sounds from what you said as if they allow everybody to play - which would be the best situation :)
