Am trying to get info about ski trips to Europe; costs per student, good companies to use etc as school is proposing States (like many others it seems) for £1500 which is prohibitive for most. Thanks.

Our school is going to Italy skiing with PGL. They are flying. Cost just under £1000.

Our school are going to Austria using PGL. Travel by overnight coach. £870

Italy, for 31st year (for school, not my DC!) - overnight coach, £750 per head with Interski.

We did one week in Italy with school for about £800, all inclusive. I think next year's trip has just been advertised at around the same price, maybe £850.

Ours was flying with Easyjet, by the way.

Dd did Austria from her school, it was pricey about #500 gbp. 2 years later ds went to a different secondary and the ski trip was planned for the states somewhere #1500 gbp, he refused to let me pay it. Bless him.

Both were for about 5 days. Wtf???

Oh, dd went by coach Shock

DS2 went with school to Italy this year. They used Interski.
It cost me £900 including all travel (coach), meals, equipment hire, lessons and apres ski entertainment.
They went for 8 days and had 6 days skiing.
I thought it was quite expensive but £1500??

Brilliant - I have a meeting at school tomorrow and now have some evidence to present. Thank you very much all.
