I've been waiting for someone to start this (was on the 2012 thread last year and am unlucky enough to have dc 18 months apart in consecutive school years!) Please join me to support and share the angst with only four weeks to go now to the first written exam.

I think DS said he wasn't going to be here for results day - he's going to the Leeds festival. Oh well, I hope he remembers to let us know what he gets. School will email them if he asks.
However he is back to school tomorrow for some intensive maths sessions and cricket all day Weds and Fri.
What's everyone elses' DCs up to?

Dd has a theatre project from mid-August, but not quite sure how she is going to fill her time until then: she has tried the voluntary services coordinators but they never got back to her.

Because she is prone to anxiety and depression I don't particularly want her mooching around the house for 7 weeks. But difficult to push and nag: CAHMS keep telling me I have to back off and let her take responsibility. So I shall sit on my hands.

I have told her if she is not working she will have to help with cooking, as I am having medical problems and still at work.

She is in a couple of plays as well, so at least she is doing something.

DD1 is at a music thing today and tomorrow (I hope she's ok. I'm sitting across the road in a cafe. she looked very small and young going off, even though she is bigger than me!). She's in a show at the weekend - she's Audrey 2! then she has 6th form induction week, another music thing, a couple of weeks with nothing scheduled except some shows/concerts she is either in or we are going to, then potentially another muic thing (but I'm not sure, the logistics are proving almost impossible). But to be honest, she really needs a break. Her fingers are finally unstrapped, and they seem ok but she is still a bit wary of using her hand normally. The brusing has finally faded completely from her face and she has had all her hair cut off because she doesn't need it as camoflage any more! Which is good.

DS has finally finished today and is now looking completely exhausted. He has grand plans for the summer but relaxing and catching up on sleep is the first priority.

DD is finally finished! Grin We're having a meal out at Pizza Express tonight and then a catch up with the Tennis on telly.

I expect tomorrow shall be a long lie-in and then the rest of the day wondering what to do with this mysterious thing called free time!
