Need opinions which is better Old Palace or Croydon HS

Which school is better for a year seven student?

We looked at both Old Palace and Croydon HS. Obviously, there is no 'correct' answer to your question. We looked at schools in Croydon but also Guildford High and Christ's Hospital in West Sussex. We chose Old Palace because it has an excellent academic reputation tied to the highly regarded Whitgift Foundation. Our daughter is very academic and liked the strong science programme that OP offers (100% of its medicine candidates were awarded places at university for the past 2 years). The music programme is outstanding and the girls are extremely close. It is a friendly, happy environment with strong drivers for excellence. It was painful to turn down GHS and Christ's Hospital very, very fine schools but we have always been happy with our decision.
