Wow, The revision fairy has arrived!

DS has been setting his alarm, getting up and showered and revision under way before 10am in the holidays!

He got some of his work shifts covered and said no when they phoned to see if he could do extra. He even returns to revision after the evening meal!

Hope it pays off - he has grade offers to meet and wants to go to Uni in October.

Is revision going well with anyone else?

DS doing as level and managed 3 past papers today.

Ooh! Today's youngsters!

Biff him around the ear with a torn off nasty thing and tell him to go and get abusive in a train station near you.

Will be good preperation for Uni where he will be expected to be a self starter. Well done him!

My DS (year 9) is sitting doing maths h/w..... what is wrong with theseyoung people?!!!

DD has drawn up a revision timetable which is her laptop background. It starts at 9:30am each day and ends at 5pm. It breaks down when she will do notes, learning and past papers. She is only year 10 so not even to GCSEs yet.
Tbf does go to a very academic school where they are all pretty motivated but my older children are uni age + and while they revised hard, it wasn't like this :o I wonder if it is because the school introduced a rule that until year 10 aren't expected to revise during easter so its suddenly a novelty that she gets to make a 3 week timetable and has time to make pretty notes! May also be because DS22 and DD20 are home from uni revising for their exams.

It's a productive household! (And slightly creepily geeky!)
