What happened to your tomboy DD when she started at seniors?

How did she find the transition? Did her existing friendships with boys carry on or fizzle out? Did she get teased/bullied for being different? Was she able to make new friends - boys or girls?

I have a DD starting at senior school in Sept and I am starting to worry. She has never been into girly stuff and tbh, I can't see it changing any time soon, but I see her female peers at school and they are already into make-up and Bieber. Is it going to be a nigthmare time for her when it steps up a gear in Sept?

She will be fine Smile. My DD isn't at all girly and has lots of friends, even some Bieber lovers Shock. Some friends like make up etc but I have found in class they all get on ok together.

My tomboy DD is in year 7 and has settled in fine, found like-minded girls who are sport mad.

Agree she's more likely to find like-minded peers.

ditto to all of above. Hope that's one less thing to worry about Smile
