Any secondary maths teachers (Scottish schools) about?

If so, I'm hoping you can give me some advice for choosing Adv Higher subjects.

DC would like to study maths at uni, and isn't sure what he'd like to do after that. He's going to do AH maths but is swithering between crash higher accounts, or AH statistics.

Which would be most useful for a maths degree? He can't do both, as the timings clash.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Form has to go back tomorrow,

My do is a maths teacher. He says accountancy is too specific, and recommends looking at statistics instead.

Thank you for answering. He's handed his options form back and he dud choose AH Stats. He's heard that it's an incredibly tough subject. Would your DH agree?
