Sevenoaks school reserve list for year 9 -any movement?

Dc is hoping to be offered a year 9 place from Sevenoaks schools waiting list .Does anyone know if there has been any movement since 1st March?

I want to know too! Any boarding place available for Y9?

wonderhow we are hoping for a day place in year 9. Some schools are very 'transparent' about their waiting list and where your dc' is on it but Sevenoaks is not one of them. Do you know if they over offered this year for year 9?

I think so. The school stated that all of the available places for September 2013 have been accepted. We have to wait whether a place has come up for Y9 by the end of the summer.

Thanks for letting me know. I think that if we haven't heard anything by Easter then the chances for our dc are slim but we will keep hoping. No idea at all! The school stated that the reserve list is rather a pool than a list. How about you? We comes from overseas, I think that the available places for overseas are much more less. I have three schools on my hand. You can see from my previous post. But my ds not yet takes the entrance test. Have you found any back up school for your dc?

At the moment we dont have one lined up that we are completely happy with but we are looking this week.I know it is a pool thing at Sevenoaks but they must have a priority list if places come up.I don't know how long the list is but maybe its better not to know the answer!!!

Hello there. I know this thread is a bit old, but did you get anywhere with the sevenoaks school wait list. DC on wait list, took exam in year 7 for year 9 entry next year. It all seems a bit if a dark art. Also, if DC git in - are they happy. It is a great school. Everyone says " parents are really pleased"' but any feedback from kids. Workload, social died, friendship groups. Much appreciated.
