Secondary Schools

I am looking for a secondary school for this september for my daughter, we live in North London and didnt get into our local good school. Help !
Im open to ideas on independent schools and any gentle ethos schools.
Or even a good state school to approach in Barnet/Haringey that we can wait on a list for.
