abbey school reading

Hi
Could someone help me out with a bit information on abbey school readingl. We are planning to sit my daughter for their common entrance. Would be helpful if anyone could provide an overview or life at this school. It is ranked 57th in league tables, but would like to hear its review if any of the parents who have kids going their or been their/ if you know anyone who is at the school.

We have several family members that attend the Abbey School and all appear to be very happy with it. The girls in the older seniors are all acheiving good results for GCSE (A's and A*'s).

DD1 will be starting in the Junior school in september. I liked the feel of the school on visits and the staff were friendly and answered questions freely.
