LEH or G&L

Hi, can anyone give me advice on LEH senior and Godolphin Latymer school?
My daughter has two offers and would very much appreciate some inside knowledge about each school, such as academic pressure, type of girls, staff etc..
My DD is very strong willed and not too girlie girl, likes her sports and music.

DDs were at one and have lots of friends at the other, and I don't think there is much between them academically. G&L does get more of the smart Chelsea set, LEH's sporting facilities means you tend to get more of the seriously sporty but the facilities at both mean that pupils will be able to pursue sport music etc. and you will also get different friendship groups so you don't have to be cool and/or girlie. First DD had the same choice and it came down to just feeling that one was more right for her, and that it was closer. She thrived there, DD2 got an awful dysfunctional year but that can happen at any school, reflected in dip in GCSE results last year . G&L of course have the option of IB which in principle we would have liked except both DDs are most definitely specialists.

Not sure if this much help but I am an old Dolphin. I loved my time at the school. The girls are lovely, the teaching and pastoral care excellent. I know the head has changed since I was there but I can't imagine that the ethos and quality of the education has changed much.

I have two boys but had I had girls I would not hesitate in sending them there.

I used to get the bus from Kensington or sometimes got a lift with a friends dad. I am biased but you should take the place as you won't regret it.

Yes, I have noticed the old Dolphins are fiercely loyal and very proud of the school which is always a great reflection.
Got a very positive feeling about G&L and the speakers they can attract etc is incredible and everyone I have spoken to have nothing but praise about the school.
In fact, both LEH and G&L have amazing reputation.
I think the final decision will have to be based on distance and ease of travelling which makes LEH stronger as the bus routes are pretty comprehensive.
