Hi all,
Am new to this form, but have been watching some of the threads with great interest. DS is sporty/ academic etc. but he is just above average in both. Not the excellent types. He is competitive, but quietly competitive.

His first choice is Whitgift, but we are afraid that he may get lost there with all these high sporty people. DH feels that KGS seems like a school that will bring out more in DS. Pls can someone help me on the positives/negatives of Whitgift, esp when compared with KGS

We have 3 more days to decide - but I cant believe we are not able to arrive at a decision.

Any help much appreciated

I'm afraid I don't know KGS, but I can reassure you that not at all the boys at Whitgift are super-sporty! Of course it does have an amazing reputation for sport, but IMO the huge range of sports offered means that there is something for everyone even if you're never going to be in the first team. Couple that with all the other extracurricular stuff going on (drama, music etc are really big at W) and I think there is more than enough to keep the non Olympic champions happy Grin

Come over to the Whitgift/Trinity thread and you may get some more answers...
