Hi, we're from abroad and we're trying to find some reviews and choose a boarding school for a 14 year old girl, so far we're considering Ashville school, Fyling hall, Barnard castle school and Westbourne school.

Can you tell us anything about these schools, please? Are there any reviews of these schools somewhere in the internet?

Thanks a lot!

Good Schools Guide may be worth subscribing to.

You can also see academic results in most newspapers and on the bbc, but those do need to be taken with a pinch of salt IMO.

I am in the area for a few of those schools, but don't really know about them. They cover a very large area geographically though, have you considered any other schools in Yorkshire/County Durham?
