my ds was offered a place at bishop challoner on shortland. acceptance slip should have be in on 15/2/13 but i thought it was 18/2/13. i am so worried that if i take it in on monday they may not accept it. the family have been so busy with death in family, elderly parents sick. what do i do.

Is that a private school? Can't imagine they'll turn down your money.

I am hoping that being a private school they will accept or else my son will have no school to go in September.

If you take it in first thing on Monday they will not have got round to processing al acceptances and i am sure will accept your form, especially if you fill them in re your family problems.

Private schools have much more freedom to exercise their own discretion with regards to these matters.
