Please explain me the GCSE

Hi, i come from another european country so i am trying to understand how the GCSE work.
If i see that a school has 75% of pupils obtain 5 A*-C is it good or not?
Whatnis the limit between good performance and bad performance? Thanks!

Is that 5A*-C including maths and English? If yes, then 75% is very good, if no, then it's not very good.
