Nower Hill in Pinner is very good but usually has a catchment of just over a mile.

I have 2 dd's at Nower Hill and can definitely recommend it. They've just had a great OFSTED and results last year puts them in the top 100 non selective state schools in the country. I think the one to steer clear of is Harrow High!

Can anyone please help me deciding which school is best for my DS out of Nower Hill High School and Whitmore High School?

Any suggestions of relevant parents would be much appreciated.

In my experience, Nower Hill is a better school. They offer a good variety of GCSE's have good extra curricular activities, the teachers are dedicated, they offer the EPQ in 6th Form and they prepare the children well for UCAS . I have one child who's just left and gone to University, one in 6th form and one due to start in September.
