Anyone had experience of 'Graphic Communication' GCSE?

Ds is considering this for one of his options, on paper it sounds quite a good combination of a creative qualification with some ICT skills. Has anyone's dc studied this?

Yes, my DS (now 17 and in Year 13) did this for GCSE and got a B. He could have achieved a higher grade but really didn't enjoy the subject as much as he expected. He was enthusiastic about creating the actual artwork but didn't like having to put together loads of stuff in his sketchbook about alternative ideas and background. If your DC is less lazy than mine they may get a lot out of it!
