FULL boarding schools

Hello.

Please could you suggest any boarding schools where all, or at least the vast majority of students are full boarders, both co-ed & single sex.

DD has just completed her 1st term at boarding school, Yr 7. It's early days and she seems to be mostly enjoying it, but complains sometimes about it being very quiet at the weekends if no outside trip is planned, as the weekly boarders outnumber the full boarders.

She (and us) obviously need to give things a lot longer to bed in, but I want to do some additional Plan B research, just in case she feels she wants a change for, say, Yr 9, although hopefully this won't be the case!

We're based overseas, but our UK home is in Essex, so I guess within a couple of hours of here.

Any opinions most appreciated. Many thanks.

Uppingham is full boarding. Always lots going on - music, drama and sport. My DS there, very happy. Friends DD also there- having a good time too. My son very into sport, friend's DD into music and drama, both equally happy and busy with life there.
