Secondary School nr Truro

Does anyone know if there are plans to set up a free school in the Truro area? Am trying to make a decision where to send my son, and am looking at options. I know about St.Michaels catholic school (free school) but wondered if there will be others. Thanks

Thanyou springrain- I looked at the link but no plans it seems for any in Cornwall. Seems like I will have to make the decision on the existing schools and am torn between the two local schools as I hear good and terrible about both...

Secondary choice in Truro is a bit restricted, it depends very much on your child. Do you have any specific concerns? I think I considered every school in the area so know how you feel!

My concerns are really just trying to find somewhere that isn't so huge that he would be 'lost', and somewhere where he will be happy. I just wish that Penair and Richard Lander weren't so big.
