My daughter was given a level 5plus (she's 11yrs old) what does this mean?

5a, I'd assume.

phlebas · 30/11/2012 14:23

yes 5a - dd's school uses -/+ instead of c/a - so 5- is 5c and 5+ is 5a

bruffin · 30/11/2012 14:30

I would say probably a 5c ie just working at above level 5a would be a 6-

bruffin · 30/11/2012 14:31

meant to say
6- is not quite working at a level 6 yet.

It means bugger all in most subjects. Totally made up a lot of the time.
