year 7 midYIS test help pls.

My dd's school have published the midyis test score, but with no explaination of what it means. both the main score and then predicted results with numbers like 7.20 for maths.
the main score was 124??
Can anyone tell me what this is.

100 is average so a score of 124 is very good.

7.20 in Maths might relate his current or predictated SATs level at the end of KS3. My daughter is predicted to be 7.25 in English which if she works hard means she is capable of A grade at GCSE.
